Mr. Anil Cooke’s career spans an impressive 45 years, during which he has earned a distinguished reputation across various sectors within the tea industry. With extensive experience in brokerage, auctioneering, tea tasting, and valuation, he has developed a deep understanding and expertise in the field. His professional journey has equipped him with the skills to navigate the complexities of the global tea market, making him a highly regarded figure in the industry.

Throughout his career, Mr. Cooke has held numerous key leadership positions, including Director at Forbes Ceylon Ltd. and Forbes & Walker Ltd., two of Sri Lanka’s most prominent tea companies. He also served as a Director at the Sri Lanka Tea Board, where he contributed to national policy-making and played a role in promoting Sri Lankan tea internationally. Earlier in his career, he was the Chairman of Colombo Brokers Association and Colombo Tea Traders Association, and also served as Executive Director at Siyaka Pvt Ltd. and Director at Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers (Pvt) Ltd., where he played an instrumental role in the companies’ growth and success.

His leadership and strategic foresight were key in driving these companies toward success, with his deep knowledge of the tea industry helping him to effectively navigate challenges and seize opportunities, both locally and internationally. As the founder director of Siyaka (Pvt) Limited and the founding Deputy CEO of Asia Siyaka Commodities (Pvt) Limited, Mr. Cooke was pivotal in establishing these companies. He currently serves as the Managing Director and CEO of Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC, Asia Siyaka Warehousing (Pvt) Limited, and Siyaka Produce Brokers (Pvt) Limited, continuing to lead these organizations with strategic vision and expertise.
